Elwise is a third-party service provider that manages Google Business Profiles on behalf of other businesses. This disclosure is provided in accordance with Google's Third-Party Policies for Google Business Profile management.

Working with a Third Party

When you engage Elwise to manage your Google Business Profile, you are working with a third-party service provider — not directly with Google. Google provides a help article explaining what this means for business owners: Working with a third party.

We encourage all our clients to review this resource to understand their rights and what to expect when a third party manages their Google Business Profile.

What We Do on Your Behalf

With your authorisation, Elwise may perform the following actions on your Google Business Profile:

• Create, claim, or verify your Google Business Profile
• Update business information (name, address, hours, description, categories, attributes)
• Upload and manage photos and media
• Respond to customer reviews on your behalf (with your prior consent)
• Create and publish Google Business posts (updates, offers, events)
• Monitor and report on profile performance metrics

Your Rights as a Business Owner

As the owner of your Google Business Profile, you have the following rights at all times:

• Right to be informed: You will be notified of all material changes made to your Google Business Profile within 48 hours.
• Right to approve: Elwise will consult with you to verify data accuracy and will not unilaterally discard Google's suggested updates without your knowledge.
• Right to control: You retain ownership of your Google Business Profile at all times. Elwise manages your profile under your authorisation, not as the owner.
• Right to discontinue: You may terminate our services at any time by contacting us. You do not need to provide a reason.
• Right to regain full access: Upon termination of our services, we will remove all granted permissions and return full control of your Google Business Profile to you within 7 business days.
• Right to review AI content: All AI-assisted review responses and posts are provided to you for approval before publication. You may reject or modify any content.

Our Transparency Commitments

• We will clearly explain all actions we intend to take on your profile before performing them.
• We will not make changes to your profile that violate Google's guidelines or policies.
• We will not use your Google Business Profile access for any purpose other than delivering the services agreed upon.
• We will provide regular performance reports so you can track the impact of our work.
• We use AI-powered tools to assist in review response drafting and content creation. All AI-generated content is clearly identified to you and requires your approval before publication.
• We will not share your Google account credentials. All access is managed through Google's standard business account permissions.

Data Handling

In compliance with Google's third-party policies:

• We do not pre-fetch, index, or permanently store Google Business Profile content beyond what is necessary to deliver our services.
• Any cached or stored data is retained for a maximum of 30 days and is kept secure and unmodified.
• We do not share your Google Business Profile data with unauthorised third parties.
• Upon termination of services, all stored data related to your profile is deleted within 30 days.

Compliance

Elwise operates in accordance with Google's Third-Party Policies and is subject to Google's monitoring and audit requirements. We are committed to maintaining compliance with all applicable Google policies, Indian data protection laws, and industry best practices.
